Our return to Quebec City was a wonderful way to finish up this tour.
The girls, the chaperones, Graham and myself have had a fantastic time on this tour. Quebec and the East Coast are an incredible part of our country to see and to do performances.

Our tour guide lead us around, telling gruesome stories of Quebec's past. It was very good, punctuated by the fact that the girls occasionally needed to scream!

We walked through the old part of Quebec to get to our ghost walk tour. These are the "Break Neck Stairs" coming down to Lowertown.

One of our girls fell asleep leaving Charlottetown. She was asleep when we crossed Confederation Bridge and didn't wake up until a bit later.
After hours of traveling we came up to the New Brunswick / Quebec border I announced we were crossing into Quebec and that the time was changing.
She was floored! "What? We are not still in PEI? How did we leave? Did we take another ferry?"
A good moment!

On our way back from P.E.I. to Quebec City we passed over the Confederation Bridge, which joins P.E.I. to New Brunswick. (The longest bridge over ice covered waters in the world. 12.9 km.)

On our way back to the hotel we had to stop at a number of monuments (seemingly every one!) for a group photo. Here are a couple. The cow outside of Cow's Ice Cream and the 1864 monument outside of the Confederation Centre.

There is a summer series of concerts at this outdoor stage every day. We had a wonderful time performing for people on the boardwalk and patrons on the outdoor deck beside us. The girls gave an excellent performance.

Toward the end of our Charlottetown tour we went into St. Dunstan's Basilica. Once inside we knew we had to sing one of our sacred pieces! A beautiful sanctuary with fantastic acoustics!

Our guide took around the waterfront to learn about the city and specifically the Charlottetown Conference of 1864.

A visit to the beach to collect some red sand. The particular beach we went to had become a bit of a jellyfish graveyard! There is part of one in the top right of this picture.

After visiting Green Gables we went around the corner to the Cavendish Cemetery. Lucy Maud Montgomery is buried there.

The first thing we did when we arrived in Charlottetown was go to Whisperwood Seniors Home. We performed a full program for the seniors. The girls sang extremely well and the audience was thrilled with the performance. After we had a chance to speak with the residents. It really is a small world when you find the mother of a friend of yours at your performance half way across the country!

St Thomas Youth & Children's Choirs
We are now looking for new members for both choirs.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at St. Andrew's United Church, 60 West Ave. in St. Thomas.
Our regular rehearsal times have changed during the pandemic:
Children's Choir - 6:00pm to 6:30pm
Youth Choir - 6:45pm to 7:15pm
