Hartland Covered Bridge

The Hartland Covered Bridge is the longest covered bridge in the world! We took time to walk across with a pause in the middle to sing "Le Temp de Vivre". (Multiple pictures. Touch picture to change.)

Canyon Ste. Anne

After our performance we visited Canyon Ste. Anne. Group shots seem to be the thing today. (Multiple pictures. Touch the screen to change. Same for the cathedral post.)

Great Hotel For Our First Night

The girls did really well on the first day of our trip. Although it sounds like a long drive it does go by quite fast. When we arrived at the hotel they were all quite surprised at just how nice it was. The rooms are beautiful and the meal we had in the hotel restaurant was incredibly good. Katie gets the quote of the day though when her maple chicken arrived. "This is so good I think I might cry!" (Multiple pictures. Touch to change)

Roadside Stop on the Way

We had a little break just after crossing over into the province of Quebec to get out and stretch our legs. The girls found a playground! It brought out the "little girl" in them! (Note: There are multiple pictures. If you have a touchscreen device - iPhone, iPad - touch the picture to see more. Same for the Big Apple post.)

First Day Lunch

For years I have been doing trips to Quebec with the grade 8's from my school and have passed by "The Big Apple". I have to say, it is quite the place! Many happy (and stuffed full) kids in the bus now.

We Are On Our Way!

Everyone gathered at Elgin Mall this morning to get ready to leave for the east coast. Of course we had to start out with the picture beside the coach.
