Day of the Walking Dead

Today is the day I affectionately call “Day of the Walking Dead”. It is always an overnight flight when we fly to somewhere in Europe for a choir tour, and as a result we are supposed to sleep on the flight. Some people manage to get a little bit of sleep, but there are many of us who do not get any at all! So as I write this a number of the people are going on to about hour 28 right now without sleep! We always schedule a long (4 hours today) walking tour on this first day, to keep people going until it’s bedtime over here. It helps us to get turned around to this time zone and then the rest of the tour goes really well.

Prague is absolutely beautiful! My favourite comment today was when Catherine said, “What do you mean you’re tired? This is just so beautiful!” Some of the kids actually saw the sites I’m sending you in the photos, but others were a bit more like zombies, walking through the streets and wishing for their beds at the hotel. Day of the Walking Dead!
